<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, wherein the charge of transfer residual toner is made uniform to allow easy recovery and reuse thereof by performing electric charge injection using toner having optical switching function or photoconductive toner, in a cleanerless system. <P>SOLUTION: In the system where the transfer residual toner is caused to pass through a charge roller 3 while uniformizing the polarity and the charge amount of the transfer residual toner on a photoreceptor 1 and is recovered and reused by the developing part 5, the transfer residual toner is brought into contact with a transparent electrode 7, to which a voltage is applied, and a light source 6 of performing light irradiation is disposed, between a transfer roller 4 and the charge roller 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
