PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a more proper stride length by estimating that a user's stride length has been decreased due to tiredness based on present and past walking times, in a pedometer having a function to calculate walking distance by setting a stride length.
SOLUTION: A CPU 108 measures walking time corresponding to operation of an input means 109 by a user, and memorizes the measured walking time in a memory means 113. The CPU 108 calculates an average time which is a mean value of a plurality of past walking times, judges whether a present walking time in this walk exceeds the average time, and changes a set value of the stride length set by a setting means to a value smaller than the set value if the present walking time exceeds the average time.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
|
