<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device with a small and lightweight wet brake having a housing with a reduced outer diameter in which a brake gear, a brake plate, and a piston are contained by improving the shape and arrangement structure of these parts. <P>SOLUTION: In this brake device with a wet multi-disk brake, a piston so fitted into the housing as to be reciprocatingly slide and facing a hydraulic pressure chamber is formed by axially continuously arranging a first portion disposed between a pressing spring and a brake plate and pressed by the pressing spring in the direction of the brake plate and a second portion forming the hydraulic chamber between itself and the housing and pressed in the opposite direction of the brake plate side by the hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic chamber in the axial direction of a rotating member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
