<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press-fit terminal device which is highly reliable, and stabilizes load applied between a component and a board. <P>SOLUTION: The press-fit terminal device 10 includes a body 11 and a contact portion 14. The contact portion 14 is pressed against an end face 22 of the board 20 by an elastic force of an inclined plate 13, because of which the contact portion 14 remains in contact with the board 20 even if the body 11 slightly shifts in position relative to the board 20 in the axial direction. As a result, even if electrical connection between the body 11 and a conductive layer 24 is prevented, the contact portion 14 remains in contact with a land 25 to ensure electrical connection between the body 11 and a conductive portion of the board 20. Besides, load applied between the contact portion 14 of the body 11 with a component and the board 20 can be adjusted by adjusting an extent of insertion of the body 11 into a through-hole 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
