<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach guide tape to an endless belt and to properly attach guide tapes in a cylindrical shape, even with respect to endless belts, where the circumferential lengths of which vary between them. <P>SOLUTION: The guide tape attaching device includes a belt-holding mechanism 2 for holding the endless belt B in a cylindrical shape; a tape-pressing mechanism 3 having a tape pressing part 41, that continuously presses the guide tape T to the internal peripheral face of the end of the endless belt B, from the leading end to the trailing end of the guide tape T; a rotating mechanism 5 for rotating the tape pressing mechanism 3 along the internal peripheral face of the endless belt B with respect to the belt-holding mechanism 2, thereby attaching the guide tape T to the endless belt B in a circle. The belt-holding mechanism 2 has a divided cylindrical body 72, formed of a plurality of separate holding pieces 71 in a circumferential direction; a cylindrical support slider 73 supporting the plurality of separate holding pieces 71 so that they are slide freely; and a chucking mechanism 74 for moving the plurality of separate holding pieces 71 forward or backward in the radial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
