PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production process allowing precise and efficient production of an article that has a part comprising a material different from that of the other part. SOLUTION: The production process comprises: a step to form a coating layer 44 on either one of a first surface and a second surface of a mold surface 50a which includes a first surface 63 having a first quality and a second surface 67 having a second quality; a step to apply a material 42 which has fluidity unlike a material making the coating layer, on the mold surface so as to cover the coating layer; a step to cure the material applied to the mold surface thereon; and a step to release the cured material.
