PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow-accumulation preventing device wherein compressed air supplied from an air blower is sent to a nozzle and the air sent from the nozzle blows away falling snow and snow on a roof. SOLUTION: The snow-accumulation preventing device is composed of an air blower provided in a room and a nozzle device placed on a ridge of a roof and having a nozzle ejecting compressed air sent from the air blower. The nozzle device includes a rotary device for rotating the nozzle with the compressed air introduced by the air blower. The compressed air ejected from the nozzle rotates the nozzle and is sprayed over almost whole area of the roof, so as to prevent snow accumulation. A rectifying means is provided for converting the compressed air into a spiral flow, so as to further enhance snow-accumulation preventing effect. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
