PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device of an opening and closing end which easily carries out the fine adjustment of the engagement of the lock device when a fitting is closed. SOLUTION: The lock device of the opening and closing end is provided with a guide member 5 stored in a case 4 mounted on the opening and closing end of a screen door or the like, an engagement member 6 which is advancingly/retreatingly guided in back and forth by the guide member 5 and has an engagement piece 6A that is engaged with and disengaged with a receiving tool mounted on the vertical frame of the opening of a building, and a setscrew 7 with a hexagonal hole which is screwed to a screw hole 5a formed at the guide member 5 and extends back and forth. The position of the engagement piece 6A is adjusted relative to the receiving tool through the back and forth movement with the operation of the engagement member 6 by rotating the setscrew 7 with the hexagonal hole with a hexagonal wrench.
