PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copolymer composed of a diamine component containing a diaminosiloxane and a tetracarboxylic acid component, having both of an amic acid structure and an imide structure and exhibiting improved solubility to organic solvents, and a method for producing the copolymer.
