PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent composition for external use, containing a gallic acid derivative, having a touch feeling-improving effect and the lasting effect of the touch feeling-improving effect with an object, and preventing the discoloration and decomposition of the gallic acid derivative in its preservation under a high temperature. SOLUTION: This agent composition for external use comprises (A) the gallic acid derivative expressed by formula (1) [wherein, R<SP>1</SP>is H, an alkali metal or the like, or an alkyl or an alkenyl; and R<SP>2</SP>to R<SP>4</SP>are each independently H or a monovalent group expressed by a specific structural formula], and (B) an inorganic acid, amino acid and organic acid having≤3 hydroxy groups or their salts.
