PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a diecasting machine using an electric servomotor as a driving source for injection and charging, where rising to a high injection speed can be swiftly and smoothly performed. SOLUTION: In a diecasting machine where, as a driving source for injecting and charging molten metal into the cavity of a die from an injection sleeve, an electric servomotor is used, the speed of an injection member injecting and charging the molten metal in the injection sleeve into the cavity is controlled by acceleration following not a polygonal characteristic curve, but a smooth speed characteristic curve in a process where the molten metal starts to pass through the gate of the die from the point before the molten metal reaches the gate of the die.
