INPUT SIGNAL PROCESSING METHOD IN IMAGE PROCESSOR AND IMAGE PROCESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input signal processing method in an image processor and an image processor, for processing an input signal so as to surely extracting an image constituent element included in image information.

SOLUTION: This image processor has: a first offset correction part 101 correcting the input signal by use of a first offset value decided based on a background level that is a value of a signal in a background area included in the input signal; a differential arithmetic processing part 102 calculating a gradient of a first correction input signal generated as a result of the correction by the first offset correction part 101 as an absolute value; a second offset correction part 103 correcting a differential input signal by use of a second offset correction value decided based on a peak value of the differential input signal generated by a differential arithmetic processing part 102; and a multiplier 104 calculating a product of the first correction input signal and a second correction input signal generated as a result of the correction by the second offset correction part 103.
