POSITION CURSOR DISPLAY DEVICE AND POSITION CURSOR DISPLAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position cursor display device and a position cursor display method by which the operability of a pointing device can be enhanced.

SOLUTION: A position arithmetic means 13 calculates the position of a position cursor on a display screen 30 by a screen display means 11 based on the manipulated variables (vector quantity) with respect to a pointing device 20 such as a track ball or a mouse. A cursor display means 14 displays a position cursor on a display screen 30 based on the arithmetic result of the position arithmetic means 13. When the position of the position cursor which is present in a specific region on the display screen 30 is calculated by the position arithmetic means 13, a manipulated variable extending means 15 increases and applies the manipulated variables acquired by the manipulated variable acquisition means 12 to the position arithmetic means 13.
