<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it takes a time to translate a Web page, and that it is impossible to completely achieve correct translation by mechanical translation, and that the way of translation or nuance even of the same English sentence may differ in each Web page. <P>SOLUTION: The machine translation of a Web page as an object of support is preliminarily performed. A translated sentence as a result of machine translation is corrected to complete translation by a translator. Then, the completely correct translated sentence is set on a network. When a request is made from a user of a translation system 10, the translated sentence is transmitted. Thus, it is possible for the user to quickly display the corrected translated sentence of the Web page.
