PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a route to a proper object road and guide thereto, without imposing unnecessary risk or labor on a user, and without increasing the production cost of map data. SOLUTION: When a destination designation accepting means 23 accepts designation of a destination, an object link selection means 25 uses each road link near the designated destination as a candidate, and selects an object link for searching for a route by determination of the propriety, based on the presence of a node on a crossing spot, between the road link or a road link connected to the road link and other road links, and a route search means 27 searches for a route to the selected object link by calculations, based on the road data.
