PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clarify a new target molecule for the development of therapeutic agents for asthma, allergic rhinitis, etc., increasing its disease rate year after year, and to develop an agent containing an agonist of the new target as an active component. SOLUTION: The method to suppress the expression of tachykinin NK1 receptor by a substance acting on a prostanoid DP1 receptor such as prostaglandin D2 and its derivative is useful for the development of a therapeutic agent for asthma, allergic rhinitis, etc., and the substance acting on the prostanoid DP1 receptor is useful as a therapeutic agent for nasal cavity and airway hypersensitivity.
