PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery status detector capable of improving its reliability and preventing reduction of detection accuracy. SOLUTION: The battery status detector 1 has a diode as a temperature-sensitive element for detecting temperature of a battery, and a communication circuit using the temperature-sensitive element and outputting temperature detected results to the outside by serial communication. The temperature-sensitive element and communication circuit are housed in the same semiconductor element 100, the semiconductor element 100 is mounted on a first member 110 having high thermal conductivity, and the semiconductor element 100 is covered by a second member 120 having thermal conductivity lower than that of the first member 110.
