PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human body detection sensor usable easily for a man-machine interface. SOLUTION: This human body detection sensor is equipped with an oscillation circuit for generating a transmission wave, an antenna for radiating the transmission wave and receiving a reflected wave by an object of the transmission wave as a reception wave, a detection circuit for detecting the reception wave, and a control determination circuit for determining existence of detection of a body to be detected based on a Doppler signal included in the detection circuit. The control determination circuit can execute a human body detection mode for detecting approach of the body to be detected, while changing the direction of a radio wave radiated from the antenna, and a switch input mode for detection operation executed in front of the antenna by the body to be detected, while keeping the direction of the radio wave radiated from the antenna in one direction, and when detecting the body to be detected during execution of the human body detection mode, finishes the human body detection mode and executes the switch input mode.
