PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact container capable of appropriately sticking a solid cosmetic to a makeup material such as a sponge or a puff even when being crushed into fragments and enhancing usability. SOLUTION: The compact container comprises: a container main body 4 provided with a storage part 2 and opened and closed by an outer cover 3 attached so as to be freely turned; a refill container 8 constituted of a refill container main body 6 where the solid cosmetic P which can be crushed into fragments is filled and an opening 5 for rubbing off the solid cosmetic with a makeup material is formed and a cover 7 provided on the refill container main body so as to be freely turned to cover the opening, and freely detachably stored in the storage part; a locking part 9 provided between the refill container main body and the lid body for locking the cover to the refill container main body so as to freely engage and disengage it; a window part 10 formed on the cover facing the opening of the refill container main body; and an elastic mesh-like cover 11 spread at the inner part of the window part and extended to the inner part of the refill container main body.
