The method involves connecting a foam part i.e. foam plate (6), with a layer (5) of a kraft liner (2) on a side and afterwards turning the connection (7) of the foam part with the layer of the kraft liner between 90-180 degrees. Another side of the foam part is connected with another layer of the kraft liner. The two layers of the kraft liner are arranged spatially from each other, where the foam part is arranged between the two layers of the kraft liner. Adhesives (3, 3') i.e. single-component adhesives, are arranged between the layers of the kraft liner and the foam portion. An independent claim is also included for a roof reinforcement obtained by a method for manufacturing a roof reinforcement for a vehicle.
