A dynamo-electric machine (100) comprising a distribution winding motor with each pole/each phase/2-slot, wherein a stator core (52) has an air gap with a constant width dg1 between the tip ends of between-in-phase teeth (1, 3, 5) and the outer peripheral surface of a rotor core (41), and an air gap with a circumferential-direction non-uniform width and a maximum width value of dg2 (>dg1) between tip ends of between-hetero-phase teeth (2, 4, 6) and the outer peripheral surface of the rotor core (41). A magnetic circuit having magneto-resistance higher than that of the between-in-phase teeth (1) is formed in the between-hetero-phase teeth (2). The difference in air gap width provided so that the number of magnetic fluxes of the between-hetero-phase teeth (2) that has been reduced by an increase in magneto-resistance is almost equal to the number of magnetic fluxes of the between-in-phase teeth (1) allows electromagnetic vibration forces applied to the both in opposite directions to balance and to be offset each other, whereby vibration of the stator core (52) is limited.
