<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular visibility assist device capable of enhancing the visibility while keeping the sight line of a driver at an adequate position, and promoting the simple recognition of a driving state or the like without considerably changing the sight line of the driver. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular visibility assist device 20 has a division means which divides a windshield 16 into a plurality of areas by performing the projection in a substantially horizontal direction on the windshield 16 of a vehicle 10, and forms the projection width so as to be equal to or smaller than the lane width area of a road when performing the projection on a road surface forward of a predetermined distance with a viewpoint position of a driver 18 being a starting point. The division means 34 is a virtual image generation means which is arranged below the windshield 16 and forms a substantially straight virtual image capable of recognizing a virtual image in a substantially straight manner from the position of the viewpoint of the driver 18, and has a first light emission means 41 for emitting the light so that a part of the substantially straight virtual image is lit more brightly than other parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
