<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain degradation of power generation capability due to excess and deficiency of moisture by supplying appropriate moisture to a membrane, and to downsize a system, in a fuel cell system equipped with a fuel cell having a solid polymer electrolyte membrane. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell system 1 is provided with a fuel cell 40 having a membrane-electrode assembly 47 composed by arranging catalyst layers 45a and 46a and diffusion layers 46a and 46b on both sides of the solid polymer electrolyte membrane 44, and separators 48a and 48b sandwiching the membrane-electrode assembly 47 from both sides, and is structured such that a reaction gas running passage 51 for running a reaction gas is formed on a surface on the membrane-electrode assembly side of the separator 48a, and power is generated by supplying the reaction gas to the membrane-electrode assembly 47 via the reaction gas running passage 51. A water running part 52 for running water is formed on a surface on the membrane-electrode assembly side of the separator 48a, and water is supplied to the membrane-electrode assembly 47 via the water running part 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
