<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic percussion instrument, having a plurality of sounding modes, which makes it possible to change sounding modes without interrupting a musical performance while avoiding wrong changing of a sounding mode, and also increasing interest in a musical performance. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic percussion instrument has a first sensor which detects hit vibrations of a musical performance surface, a second sensor which detects hit vibrations of a surface different from the musical performance surface, a sounding control means which operates in a previously set mode between a first mode wherein the output signal of the first sensor is amplified and supplied to a speaker and a second mode wherein musical piece data are reproduced in tempo corresponding to output intervals of the signal from the first sensor, a storage means 260 in which mutually different waveform data are written while made to correspond to the respective modes, and a switching means of switching the operation mode of the sounding control means to the mode stored in the storage means while made to correspond to the waveform of the output signal of the second sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
