METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING HIGH CONCENTRATION HYDROGEN AND SYNTHESIS GAS WITH HIGH CONCENTRATION CARBON MONOXIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and a manufacturing apparatus where carbon dioxide generated as a subsidiary product can be utilized, where a high concentration hydrogen gas can be taken out and where a synthesis gas with high concentration carbon monoxide can be obtained.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method has a first step to generate the high concentration hydrogen gas by absorbing and removing carbon dioxide from a reformed gas generated by the steam reforming of a hydrocarbon compound such as natural gas and the like using a carbon dioxide absorbing material and by a conversion reaction of carbon monoxide in the gas with steam and a second step to regenerate the carbon dioxide absorbing material and to generate the synthesis gas with high concentration carbon monoxide by an inverse shift reaction by flowing a steam reformed gas reformed at a high temperature or a reformed gas reformed by the partial oxidation of the hydrocarbon compound at a higher temperature than that in the first step to the carbon dioxide absorbing material absorbed with carbon dioxide.
