PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize sufficient strength while installing an opening part on the surface of a case. SOLUTION: In a battery pack, a battery core 13 composed of a thin-type battery 2 is housed in the exterior case 1 of a battery pack. The exterior case 1 consists of a first case 1A having a first surface plate 1a to cover a first flat surface side of the thin-type battery 2, and a second case 1B having a second surface plate 1b to cover a second flat surface side. The first surface plate 1a and the second surface plate 1b are molded to be larger than the outer dimension of the battery core 13. The first case 1A has an opening part 4 to expose a first flat surface 2A of the thin-type battery 2 to the first surface plate 1a, and the outer wall 8 and a reinforcing rib 6 are integrally molded and installed at the outer peripheral part 7 of the first surface plate 1a. In the second case 1B, the outer peripheral edge of the second surface plate 1b is coupled to the first case 1A.
