PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus capable of performing a high quality brimless recording by suppressing the generation of ink mist. SOLUTION: This composite machine 10 has a platen 42, an inkjet recording head 39 and a movable supporting part 88 provided on the platen 42. The movable supporting part 88 slides while following a recording paper 184 carried and supporting the recording paper 184. The movable supporting part 88 is equipped with a step 207. The step 207 catches ink droplets delivered outside of the recording paper 184 in the brimless recording.
