PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a SPR sensor head and a SPR sensor device for inexpensively and stably obtaining a significant measurement result. SOLUTION: The SPR sensor head 20 includes an optical fiber 21, a collimating lens 22, a polarization beam splitter 23, a 1/2 wavelength plate 24, a prism 25, a reflection mirror 26, a flat plate 27, and a metal film 28. A light enters into a first flat surface 25a of the prism 25, travels within the prism 25, and is totally reflected by a second main surface 27b of the flat plate 27 through a second flat surface 25b of the prism 25 and a first main surface 27a of the flat plate 27. The totally-reflected light travels within the prism 25 through the first main surface 27a of the flat plate 27 and the second flat surface 25b of the prism 25, and exits from a third flat surface 25c of the prism 25 toward the outside. The light exiting toward the outside perpendicularly enters into the reflection mirror 26, and is reflected by the reflection mirror 26.
