PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control point data generation system and a control point data generation method to support works for generating control point data regarding an instrumentation equipment based on drawing data of an instrumentation diagram generated by a CAD system and the like. SOLUTION: The control point data generation system 1 has a case database 17 which stores drawing object attribute data 175 describing the correspondence between a drawing object included in the instrumentation diagram data and the control point records included in the control point data. As a control point data generation program 141 is executed in a CPU 10, with referring to the drawing object attribute data 175, one or a plurality of control point records corresponding to the instrumentation diagram data 142 of the current matter are determined and the control point data 143 of the current matter including the determined control point records is generated.
