PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus in which scanning-related control is simplified and in which stable motion can be attained at a low cost. SOLUTION: The posture of a mirror 31a can be rotated around two axes by means of a reflection device 31 and a rotation device 33, which makes two-dimensional scanning possible by the mirror 31a on a laser light beam LB from a light source device 20. Also, in a projector 10, in accordance with the rotary position of the reflection device 31 and the inclined posture of the mirror 31a, a controller 50 controls the output intensity of the laser light beam LB to be outputted from the light source device 20. As a result, an image with a two-dimensional intensity distribution can be formed on the surface of a screen 40 that is arranged in the outgoing direction of the laser light beam LB.
