PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camouflage material superior in a camouflage function in a visible area, and camouflage performance in an infrared ray area, and having light weight and air permeability though its outer layer material is composed of thin cloth of coarse texture, in particular, the camouflage material preferably used for a camouflage uniform (camouflage clothes). SOLUTION: The outer layer material (a) is composed of a layered structure of at least two or more layers of infrared ray absorbing layers (b), and a black portion of the camouflage material on which the camouflage processing for visible area is performed, of the outer layer material (a) has camouflage effects that the reflectivity in the infrared ray wavelength area of 600-760 nm is 10% or less, and the reflectivity in the infrared ray wavelength area of 1,000-1,200 nm is 20% or less.
