摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the low-temperature liquefied gas feeder and the method which can reduce the evaporation loss of the low-temperature liquefied gas, restart a liquefied gas pump promptly and avoid the cavitation as well. SOLUTION: While a low-temperature liquefied gas feeder raises the pressure of the low-temperature liquefied gas extracted from a low-temperature liquefied gas reservoir 11 through the pump inlet 13 by a submerged pump 12 and supplies it from a liquefied gas feed channel 14 to a liquefied gas supply destination, the supply of the low-temperature liquefied gas is started by closing a gas recovery valve before or after starting a submerged pump after collecting the gas in a liquefied gas feed channel to the low-temperature liquefied gas reservoir by opening a gas recovery valve 16V of the gas recovery channel 16 which is branched upwards from the liquefied gas feed channel before starting the submerged pump when supplying the low-temperature liquefied gas by returning the gas which is evaporated in a casing 12a of the submerged pump from the vent channel 15 to the upper part of the low-temperature liquefied gas reservoir.
