PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine capable of inhibiting the vibration of a lubricating oil suction pipe during engine operation by easily increasing the rigidity of the lubricating oil suction pipe. SOLUTION: The lubricating oil suction pipe 57 is supported by being fixed to a ladder frame by a support member 59 and to the ladder frame by a plate 61 on the injection pump side of the lubricating oil suction pipe 57. The support member 59 is arranged to keep the plate width direction surface 67 of a rising part 64 of the support member 59 roughly in parallel with the primary vibration direction of the lubricating oil suction pipe 57 indicated by an arrow in a figure. The rigidity of the lubricating oil suction pipe 57 in a primary vibration direction is increased, the vibration of the lubricating oil suction pipe 57 during engine operation is reduced, and a natural frequency of the lubricating oil suction pipe 57 becomes higher as compared to a natural frequency of the engine by the support member 59 arranged in such a manner.
