PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a caulking portion to be easily inserted into box section steel without serving as a barrier, and to surely transfer a stress to a lower floor. SOLUTION: In this joint metal 21, a web 22, a first flange 23, a second flange 24, which is formed in such a shape as to be wider than the first flange 23, a first lip 25, which is provided at the leading end of the first flange 23, and a second lip 26, which is provided at the leading end of the second flange 24 and isolated to the outside with respect to the first lip 25, are preformed. The joint metal 21 is inserted into the opening end 36 of a floor joist 10 as the box section steel in such a manner that the first flange 23 is firstly inserted. Incidentally, an isolation distance L3 between an outside surface of the first lip 25 and an inside surface of the second lip 26 is set equal in dimension to/greater in dimension than the thickness L4 of the caulking portion which is formed on the inside surface of one side plate of the floor joist 10.
