PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillation mass damper suitable for its attachment in the inside or an upper part of a hand-held tool device and having small whole length. SOLUTION: This oscillation mass damper 3 attached to a housing 2 of the hand-held tool device 1 is provided with a damping mass 4 pressed in the direction of axial line and oscillating for the housing 2 by at least one spring 5, which is arranged in the inside of the damping mass 4 completely with respect to its length in the direction of axial line. The damper 3 is preferably constituted in a mirror-symmetrical form. The damping mass 4 is arranged in a damping mass housing 9 surrounding at least most parts of the damping mass 4 to guide to move in the direction of axial line. Two housing stoppers 12 being separated from each other in the direction of axial line are formed per spring 5 in the damping mass housing 9, two damping mass stoppers 13 being separated from each other in the direction of axial line per spring 5, are formed in the damping mass 4, and the spring 5 is abutted on these stoppers 12, 13 in the direction of axial line.
