PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing machine which can adjust the quantity of drawing in a plurality of directions and improves the drawing efficiency and yield of a sheet material. SOLUTION: The drawing machine 1 for the sheet material has a pair of endless link devices which is arranged oppositely at both ends in the width direction of the sheet material, stretch a plurality of equal length links gripping each end part of the sheet material while extending/contracting like an interconnected folding scale along a course on an approximately horizontal plane, return them to the side of an inlet, and make them travel. Each of the endless link devices has a rail having a preheating region 9 parallel on the inlet side of the sheet material, a fan-shaped stretching region 10 for stretching thereafter, a heat fixing region 11 parallel thereafter, and a return side part of the equal length links conveying the sheet material, inlet side and outlet side sprockets 6, 7, and 8 which are located on the inside of the rail and arranged on the inlet side and the outlet side of the sheet material and drive the equal length links, and an elastomer member which is set in a prescribed link among the equal length links and suppresses the extending/contracting movement.
