The invention relates to an anhydrous liquid composition to be diluted in an intermediate aqueous solution and further incorporated into the drinking water of cattle, and to the use of such a composition. The invention is characterised in that it comprises at least one active ingredient dissolved in one or more water-soluble organic solvents, at least one surfactant, and xanthane gum.
