The board has a paper strip (1) to exert a bonding pressure on a recessed, inclined folding area. A slot (3) in the paper strip on a profile enables pressing of books with different paperboard strength. The paper strip is glued with a special adhesive into a slot of a ply wood, where the pressing board comprises a wood plate (2) viewed on a front side of the board.
