An adder and a current mode-type switching regulator are provided to suppress deviation of a threshold voltage by adjusting an amount of currents. An adder includes first and second converters for flowing first and second currents corresponding to first and second input voltages, and current addition resistors for adjusting resistance of output terminals of the first and second converters. The first and second converters include front converters(61,63) for generating reference currents, rear converters(62,64) for generating currents corresponding to the input voltages, and first and second current mirror circuits. A first terminal of the current mirror circuit is connected to the front converters and a first output terminal thereof which flows a current corresponding to the first terminal is connected to the rear converters. A second terminal of the second current mirror circuit is connected to the first output terminal. The second current mirror adjusts a ratio of a current through a second output terminal corresponding to a current of the second terminal. By flowing the first and second currents, a voltage generated from the current addition resistors is outputted as an addition voltage of the first and second input voltages.
