The device comprises a vehicle (1), which is driven over a ground cultivated with asparagus. A medium is provided for recognizing individual asparagus seaweeds, which is in a condition suitable for the harvest. A control medium is provided for controlling a withdrawal medium (5). The medium for recognizing individual asparagus seaweeds has three cameras (4). The withdrawal medium are connected with the vehicle by an articulated arm robot (6). An independent claim is also included for a method for harvesting of asparagus, particularly with a device.
