A frontload washer is provided to compensate for a weight of a motor by thickening a bearing housing so that the bearing housing performs as a weight compensating member. A frontload washer comprises a tub, a drum, a motor(140) having a stator(200) and a rotor(300), a bearing housing(160), and a weight compensating member(400). The drum rotates in the tub. The motor, rotates the drum, of which coils made of predetermined materials except for copper are wound on the stator of the motor, and the rotor is electromagnetically rotated with the stator. The bearing housing has a bearing inside to support a rotary shaft connected the drum with the rotor. The weight compensating member is installed at the tub to compensate for an unbalance due to change of coil materials. |
