A lamp shield driving apparatus for providing multiple beam patterns and a lamp assembly using the same are provided to secure a field of view suitable for a road condition by adaptively changing a beam pattern of a head lamp. A first shield(110) has a declined surface having a cut off pattern on an edge. A second shield(120) is overlapped with the first shield. A cam shaft(130) is contacted to the first shield and the second shield. The cam shaft is configured to have different profile shapes so as to move the first and second shields upwardly and downwardly. A motor rotates the cam shaft. One of the first and second shields is moved upwardly and downwardly when the first and second shields are overlapped with each other, thereby forming at least two beam patterns. The overlapped portion between the first and second shields is formed by coupling a concave formed on one of the first and second shields to a convex formed on the remaining one.
