A lens module is provided to minimize pressure applied to a lens and spring due to a rough operation when a device is not operated by supporting and smoothly pressing a lens holder with a magnetic latch so as to be in contact with a lower cushion. Upper and lower casings(21,22) receive a magnetic yoke(33), a permanent magnet device, a lens holder(29), a coil(30) and a spring device(27). The magnet yoke is formed in a ring shape and has an outer wall(38), a direct cylindrical inner wall(39), and a top wall(40) which connects the inner wall and the outer wall at a top end portion. A lower end portion of the magnetic yoke is opened. The axial height of the inner wall is smaller than that of the outer wall. The permanent magnet device includes at least one permanent magnet engaged with the inner surface of the outer wall. The lens holder forms an optical axis, includes a through-hole for receiving a lens and has an axial upper end portion, an axial lower end portion and a radial outer surface.
