FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied in thermostating of control junctions in differential thermocouples. The control junctions of differential thermocouples to be thermostated are placed in all cells of a grid made of caproic fibre and fixed in the inner cavity of a float. Differential thermocouple contacts are drawn outside through a special gasket. Two fine-mesh grids are fixed at upper and lower bases of the float. Closer to the bottom base of internal chamber a sylphon is connected by one end, the other end being tightly welded, so that it makes a hermetic vessel communicating with the internal chamber and compensating internal pressure changes in the chamber resulting from volume increase of solid mass. ^ EFFECT: extension of functional capabilities. ^ 2 dwg
