A chip with a built-in switch and an on/off control system are provided to supply power only to an operation-required part in the chip, and to reduce the number of components used in the outside. A first block(120) includes a circuit turned on or off at the same time according to power supply and a device connected to the circuit. A first switch(110) switches on or off power supply to the first block in correspondence to a first block power supply signal inputted from the outside of a chip. A second block(140) is turned on or off according to power supply. A second switch(130) switches on or off power supply to the second block in correspondence to a second block power supply signal inputted from the outside of the chip with a built-in switch. The first block power supply signal is transmitted to the first switch through the second block.
