An image sensor includes a substrate which has a front surface and a back surface, a plurality of photo detectors which are adjacent to the front surface, a plurality of contact pads which are electrically connected to the photo detectors on the front surface, and a plurality of light manipulation components which are arranged on part of the back surface. The photo detectors generate electric signals in response to incident light passing through the part of the back surface and the light manipulation components. The part of the back surface has a non-planar shape. So, the deterioration of image quality can be prevented. |
