The present invention relates to an apparatus for driving a light device. As one feature, the apparatus for driving a lighting device includes a movement sensing unit for sensing a movement to output a movement sensing signal corresponding to a degree of sensed movement; an operation control unit connected to the movement sensing unit to control the lighting device to be lightened off and output a remote controller signal to stop a set electronic product operating when any movements are not sensed for a set time period based on the movement sensing signal output from the movement sensing unit; and a lighting device driving unit connected to the operation control unit to light on the lighting device according to the control signal output from the operation control unit. Thus, when any movements are not sensed for a set time period, the lighting device is automatically lightened off and the set electronic products are automatically turned off, so that power is prevented from being unnecessarily wasted and the convenience of a user is improved.
