The present invention relates to a method for effectively determining a device for outputting information in accordance with generation of an event when a plurality of mobile devices are connected to a vehicle, and an apparatus for performing the same. A method for outputting event information using a smart device in an AVN (audio, video, and navigation) system of a vehicle in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a step of detecting generation of an event; a step of determining a priority for each of devices for outputting event information corresponding the generated event; a step of determining whether the devices are connected by the priority for each of the determined devices; and a step of requesting output of the event information to a device having the highest priority among the connected devices. |
