A system and a method for RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification), and a multi-core tag including a plurality of RFID tags are provided to prevent copy of data stored in the RFID tag, which is used for authenticating an offline product, at a low cost. A multi-core tag(101) includes a plurality of RFID tags respectively storing an ID code and at least one verifiable data set. An RFID reader(102) transmits a read request for requesting each RFID tag of the multi-core tag to read a first part from the verifiable data set and authenticates the multi-core tag based on the data read from the multi-core tag. Each RFID tag of the multi-core tag includes a controller performing a first operation. The first operation prevents reading the read verifiable data set if all data of the read verifiable data set can be read when a read request is received from the RFID reader.
