FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, particularly to the method of obtaining 3-N-methylamino-1-phenyl-1-propanol(I, "") - semi-finished product of the production of N-methyl-3-phenyl-3-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenoxy)propylamine hydrochloride, known by its international nonproprietary name as fluoxetine and used in medicine as a highly-effective psychotropic preparation. The method is achieved through recovery of natrium borane in 3-N-methylaminopropiophenone in water alkaline medium. In that case, 3-N-methylaminopropiophenone is taken in form of hydrochloride at molar ratio of the reacting substances 3-N-methylaminopropiophenone hydrochloride : natrium borane : caustic soda, equal to1:0.45/0.5:1/1.15. The target product is extracted using toluene and kept in crystal form with cooling. The method uses accessible raw materials, minimum excess of reagents and carried out for 1.5 hours, which makes it suitable for industrial use. ^ EFFECT: design of a method of obtaining the reagent, suitable for industrial use. ^ 2 ex |
